Cantonal Hydro-Meteorological Network - IST
The cantonal hydro-meteorological network currently consists of about 50 stations, with about 120 measurement sensors, and is complementary to the 2 national monitoring networks managed by MeteoSwiss and the FOEN. The cantonal network is coordinated and supervised by the Watercourses Office (UCA) of Canton Ticino, while the operational activities of data management, maintenance, acquisition and validation are entrusted to the Institute of Earth Sciences.
Real-time data can be consulted at www.oasi.ti.ch, while tables with annual data are also available and an overview of the numerous automatic monitoring networks operated by the Institute.
