Hydrological Yearbook - IST
The Hydrological Yearbook of Canton Ticino is published jointly by the Institute of Earth Sciences and the Watercourses Office of the Department of the Territory. Its first edition dates to 1979. As of 2016, the Yearbook has undergone a complete overhaul in its structure, integrating into the text graphs and tables describing annual hydrological trends. Since the 2018 version, information on the cantonal network for monitoring piezometric levels, managed by the Institute of Earth Sciences and supervised by the Office for Water Protection and Water Supply (UPAAI), has also been integrated.
The Yearbook is available free of charge in PDF format, and a "Map of Cantonal Rain and Hydrometric Stations" is attached to its publication.
Real-time data can be viewed at www.oasi.ti.ch, while tables with annual data are also available.
